The Revd. Canon Dr Ray Cleary AM is Locum Vicar at CCSY while we search for a new incumbent. A senior priest in the Diocese of Melbourne, Ray has been a lifelong advocate on behalf of the most disadvantaged groups in society. In a career spanning 40 years, he has held many different leadership positions in services for children, including deaf children, family care services, and services for the aged. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Melbourne City Mission (1995–2000), Chief Executive Officer of Anglicare Victoria (2000–2010) and a member of the Board of the Brotherhood of St Laurence (1993–1995). He has served as Chair of Anglicare Australia and the General Synod Public Affairs Commission. as well as Melbourne’s Diocesan Council and the Chapter of St Paul’s cathedral. 2001, Ray chaired the Victorian Government’s Ministerial Advisory Committee on Homelessness and subsequently joined the Ministerial Council on Housing and the Ministerial Council on Children and Families. From 2010-2015 he was Director of Formation at Trinity Theological College and has undertaken a number of locum ministries. Ray received a Centenary Medal in 2001 and in the 2008 Queen’s Birthday Honours he became a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his work in community services, the Anglican Church and social justice.

The Revd Emily Fraser is Associate Priest at Christ Church and Chaplain to Christ Church Grammar School. She is half-time in the parish, and half-time at the school. Her role is “to bring the School to the Church, and the Church to the School.”

Kim Bong is an authorised Lay Minister (part-time). Kim is a graduate of our EfM program and has ministry strengths in spiritual and pastoral care, administration, and hospitality. Kim is currently leading the Children's Ministry, focussing on Godly Play.
