Our Vision

We aim to grow more as an inclusive Christian community in the Anglican tradition that:

  • worships God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

  • communicates the gospel to the residents, workers and visitors of South Yarra and beyond

  • nurtures and matures faith: in God and one another

 We seek to provide:

  • liturgy and music of the highest quality

  • intelligent preaching and teaching for all ages

  • physical and spiritual support for those in need

  • a welcoming and safe space for those who have been hurt by the Church or others

  • buildings that are open for prayer and fellowship, for baptisms, marriages and funerals;
    and for those who are seeking a place of peace and transcendence

  • Christian education through Christ Church Grammar School and programs for those of all ages

  • resources for the Diocese of Melbourne and the wider Church

Our faith and actions should be generous and hospitable at all times, as encouraged by, and in response to, our most gracious and welcoming God.
