150th Anniversary of CCSY
Feast of Christ the King - 20 November 2005

Over 730 people filled the church for the magnificent Choral Eucharist at which the preacher was the Revd Dr Andrew McGowan, Director of Trinity College Theological School (Melbourne).  The choral setting was the first performance of Missa Aedes Christi (Christ Church Mass) by Fr Christopher Willcock SJ, commissioned by the Christ Church Music Foundation.  The Eucharist was followed by champagne in the forecourt of the Old Vicarage and then a luncheon for 230 people in the parish hall.  During the luncheon a cheque for $40,000 was presented to the Anglican Board of Missions Australia to support St Paul's School, Dogura, Papua New Guinea.
